Branding & Strategy Maven with Moxie.

Hello there! Pull up a chair and let’s chat.

Hello!

What’s my secret weapon? Pulling the lens out to see the whole picture of any story, idea or business. From there, I start teasing out themes, collecting common goals and envisioning pathways to get a “big idea” into the world. I love diving into brands to find ways to grow them to their full potential with authenticity, story telling and passion.

I am excited to offer my years as a business owner, consultant, brand manager and strategist, to your place of passion so we can do cool things.

I believe branding is the personality of a business. How it shows up in newsletters, social media and advertising is crucial for people to get to know, like and trust the business you built.

The messaging is what is said, the tone and to who and why it’s important and how it’s being recieved.

If these things don’t show up consistently and aren’t cohesive, people will feel “put off”… and move on to the next business to help serve them. These days, people are savvier than ever about seeing through a shallow message. Customers are looking for authentic voices and to see themselves represented in the messaging and marketing.

I can find those holes, sew together a strong message and consistent brand, so you can offer your business to the people you want to serve.

Running Evolution

We make runners! The goal of Running Evolution was to make running less scary and dare I say it…FUN??

Running Evolution was my first business, born right before having my son, and has grown into a thriving community that has spread across the nation, after pivoting to a virtual platform during covid. Running Evolution started with a couch to 5k class and became the go-to place to help people start running, or re-start running when it’s been a while since one laced up shoes.

We saw a need to help other coaches, so we developed course work to help other coaches make even more runners with coachrunningevolution.com

REC: Shirts & Swag

The vision of REC: Shirts & Swag was to have a way for people to show off their running lifestyle without wearing a scratchy, and usually ugly, race shirt..that probably smelled terrible too. REC: Shirts are tri-blend (oh, so soft material) with fun graphics.

We sold them at local running stores, on-line and at pop-up shops at local breweries, where we held REC Runs and sold shirts post run.

Each piece of clothing came with a contract on the hang tag. 1) Be nice to yourself. 2) Be nice to others. 3) Have fun, it’s only running.

Running Retreats

From conception to the last tiny details, running retreats are one of my favorite projects. Under Running Evolution, 5 running retreats were pulled off, with a dozen of happy campers at the end.

Our staples:

Adventure Run Retreat! Campers stayed in rustic accommodations with good food and craft beer. The adventure started when we dropped off runners in fun locations and had them run to a destination where there was a delicious hot meal waiting for them at then end.

Eat. Drink. Run. Woman. Included luxury cabins and guided runs, wine tasting, goal setting exercises and lots of amazing food.

In addition, I have consulted on 3 other running retreats to bring to life the the look and feel of the experience. Mirna Valerio’s Slow AF Azores Adventure and Kulapooza.
